During a special program the runners shared Sri Chinmoy&#8217;s vision of world-peace and harmony with European politicians from different countries.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.srichinmoybio.co.uk\/news\/sri-chinmoy\/world-harmony-run-at-the-european-parliament\/attachment\/sony-dsc\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1751\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-1751\" title=\"MEPs and runners at the European Parliament\" src=\"https:\/\/www.srichinmoybio.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/DSC03303-500x332.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"332\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.srichinmoybio.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/DSC03303-500x332.jpg 500w, https:\/\/www.srichinmoybio.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/DSC03303-300x199.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 85vw, 500px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Ten MEPs (Members of European Parliament) from Ireland, Finland, Estonia, Slovenia, Luxemburg, Austria and Denmark participated in the program which took place inside the Parliament building. The MEPs held the Peace Torch and gave glowing speeches praising the initiative of running for peace. The ceremony was hosted by Angelika Werthmann, MEP from Austria.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.srichinmoybio.co.uk\/news\/sri-chinmoy\/world-harmony-run-at-the-european-parliament\/attachment\/sony-dsc-2\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1752\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-1752\" title=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.srichinmoybio.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/DSC03260-500x332.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"332\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.srichinmoybio.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/DSC03260-500x332.jpg 500w, https:\/\/www.srichinmoybio.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/DSC03260-300x199.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 85vw, 500px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>One MEP told the runners, &#8220;You are the living embodiment of the motto of the European Parliament, &#8216;unity in diversity&#8217;.&#8221; It was the sixth visit of the World Harmony Run to the European Parliament since 2006.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.srichinmoybio.co.uk\/news\/sri-chinmoy\/world-harmony-run-at-the-european-parliament\/attachment\/sony-dsc-3\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1753\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-1753\" title=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.srichinmoybio.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/DSC03279-500x332.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"332\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.srichinmoybio.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/DSC03279-500x332.jpg 500w, https:\/\/www.srichinmoybio.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/DSC03279-300x199.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 85vw, 500px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>A photo exhibition with photographs from the Run in Europe was presented together with the ceremony.
